Payment Security

At rainsnow.eu, ensuring that your shopping experience is safe and hassle-free is our top priority.

    • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. You can also use digital wallets such as PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, which offer secure and fast payment options.
    • Payment Security Checks: For your payment security, your billing name and address must match the payment method you use exactly. We reserve the right to cancel orders that do not comply with our security checks.
    • Encryption Technology: All your online credit card transactions are securely transmitted using the latest Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) encryption technology. This ensures that your personal and payment information is protected from unauthorized access. We use HTTPS on all pages of our website.
    • Account Security: We strongly recommend using strong and unique passwords for your online shopping and banking accounts. You may consider using two-factor authentication (2FA) or two-step verification (2SV) to enhance the security of your account.
    • Storing Payment Information: We recommend that you do not allow your browser or account to remember your payment information. We do not store your bank information for future purchases.
    • Consumer Protection: Purchases made with a credit card may provide additional protection under the Consumer Credit Act. For debit card payments, you may be able to request a refund through voluntary “refund” programs.
    • Direct Bank Transfer: For your security, we recommend that you do not make payments via direct bank transfer.

Order and Payment Timing

    • General Payment Policy: Generally, your card or other payment method will not be charged until your order is accepted and shipped. However, a pre-authorization (temporary pre-approval) of funds may appear immediately when you place your order.
    • Pre-Ordered and Personalized Products: Payment for pre-ordered or personalized products is taken at the time of order placement or shortly thereafter and prior to shipment. This is a different practice than for standard products.
    • Delivery Times and Updates: Estimated delivery times for pre-orders will be communicated to you before placing your order and upon order confirmation. We will proactively notify you of any delays.
    • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your pre-orders at any time before the product is shipped, except for personalized or perforated jewelry.

Ordering by Phone and Product Reservations

    • Order by Phone Service: You can place an order by phone through Rainsnow Customer Service. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    • Payment Method Restrictions: In cases where you cannot place an order directly by phone or wish to use a payment method that is accepted online but not by phone, a shopping cart will be created for you and an email containing a link to this cart will be sent to you.
    • Product Reservation: The products you add to your shopping cart are secured for you after payment is received by us and your products are shipped. Creating a cart does not reserve the product for you.
    • Secure Communication: Please ensure that the shopping cart links sent via email are secure and clearly indicated as coming from Rainsnow.

Special Product Categories and Management

    • Pre-Order Products: You can place a pre-order for certain products that are not currently in stock but will be available in the future. Estimated delivery times will be specified before and upon confirmation of your order. Except for personalized products, pre-orders can be canceled before shipment.
    • Save Interest Option: A “Save Interest” option may be available for a product marked as “Currently Unavailable.” No payment is taken during this process, and the product is not reserved for you. Availability of sizes is also not guaranteed.
    • Online Exclusive Products: Products defined as “online exclusive” can only be purchased through rainsnow.eu and are not available in Rainsnow stores or authorized retailers. Customer Service can assist customers who experience difficulties placing an online order by phone. These products can be picked up from your selected Rainsnow store using the free In-Store Pickup service (if available).
    • Labeling Details: Products with the same product number may have different labels. However, there are no other significant differences between the products themselves. Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate specific labeling requests.

International Transactions and Additional Fees

    • International Shipping: We offer international shipping services. Fees are generally charged in the currency of the destination country you select. If the currency of your card or payment method is different, the price will be calculated by your card provider and charged in your card's currency.
    • International Bank Fees: International bank fees may be applied by your payment provider. Rainsnow has no control over or ability to predict these fees. Therefore, we recommend that you contact your bank before placing an order.
    • Customs and Import Taxes: Unless shipped to Russia or Canada, no additional import taxes or customs duties will be charged upon delivery of your product. Orders shipped to Russia and Canada will be subject to customs duties upon import.
    • VAT Refunds: Taxes on orders placed through rainsnow.eu are not refundable through the VAT Retail Export Scheme or any other sales tax refund program. The VAT Retail Export Scheme was abolished in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales) on January 1, 2021.
